In short
Treehugger is one of the most visited weblogs "dedicated to everything that has a modern aesthetic yet is environmentally responsible." [sic] As the World Changing collective blog, it aims to popularize sustainable development, and point to available and positive alternatives.
The founder, Michael Graham Hill
Treehugger was founded and emerged under founder Graham Hill supervision. Hill earned a Bachelor of Architecture from Carleton University in Ottawa and did advanced studies in Industrial Design at E.C.I.A.D, Vancouver. But prior to Treehugger, he got several experiences in fashion, web-development, viral email and plant-based air filters. In 1995, with his cousin, he started and grew the web-developer, Sitewerks, to 60 people doing work for large companies such as Microsoft.
Treehugger editing team
Since its start, the team operating the weblog grew into an international pool of editors. British, Spanish, German contributors have been added. Up to now, there are about 25 editors constantly updating the news feed.
